Palisades National Bank celebrates its 100 year anniversary this year, originally chartered in 1905. The first president of the bank was J.J. Durkee. Total assets on opening day were $26,666.85 — total assets on the close of business on 12/31/06 were 46,886,000.00

The Palisades National Bank has grown with the valley and continues to serve all of the banking needs of the area. One unique item about the Palisades National Bank is that it is the oldest bank in Mesa County operating under its original name, charter and location. The bank has retained the same name for 100 continuous years.

The Palisades National Bank started Saturday banking and free business checking in Mesa County and will continue to be a driving force in the valley for all agricultural, commercial, consumer and residential needs and will continue to grow along with the Town of Palisade and the valley.
